Take care of your family: Talk with a family member so as to “help yourself” at this time in your life.

31St SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (Luke 19:1-10)

This Gospel speaks of the joy of an encounter with Jesus; even for people who, in principle, are more distant from him. Zacchaeus climbed a tree to be able to see him “because he was very small.” In our family we also have our “little things” and limitations that prevent us from perceiving the presence of God. If we want Jesus to “find us” we have to look for “places” or “people” which help us to see Jesus. Perhaps some in others. Perhaps helping us to bring out the best in ourselves.

Proposal to take care of the family this week:
Talk with a family member so as to “help yourself” at this time in your life.
