Take care of your family: Organize some family activity that fills and encourages us

SUNDAY II OF THE TIME OF LENT (Mt 17:1-9)

In spite of the intense experience lived by the disciples who accompanied Jesus on Mount Tabor, he warned them not to tell what had happened until the Resurrection. Because the path he is going to propose to his followers is not a path of glory and honour, but another, difficult one, in which the love of God and neighbour without limits, forgiveness, humility and service prevail. However, the Resurrection confirms the validity of that message. And the experience of the transfiguration is a preview of it. In our families, called to be bearers of the Resurrection but also subject to the harshness of the journey, we need moments of “Tabor” so as not to lose our horizon and to gain the strength to continue being disciples who always seek to do good.

PROPOSAL TO CARE FOR THE FAMILY this week.
Lent is a good occasion to reinforce in the family the option to continue doing good (“regardless of who”, as the saying goes in English). And to gather strength for this mission, this week we propose to carry out some activities together that will fill you, that will encourage you… like the transfiguration.
