Take care of your family: Let us make some gesture that reminds us that we have chosen “light” and not “darkness”.

32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time (Mt 25:1-13)

The Parable of the Wise and the Foolish girls can remind us that we must always keep faith with the “return of Jesus” and be prepared during the wait (our life). Its end (death), unpredictable and inevitable, marks our existence in such a way that, if there is no faith, when it comes – our own or that of the beings we love – we fall into despair or discouragement. On the contrary, if we place ourselves on the basis of faith, we will learn from Jesus to live on the basis of love, forgiveness, and service. We will be like the “wise young women”… and our “lamps will always be lit”. Our families, therefore, will be ” enlightening” and places of hope.
Proposal to take care of the family this week

Let us be attentive to the “comings” of Jesus into our lives, spreading love, generosity… moving away from what hurts us. Let us make some gesture that reminds us that we have chosen “light” and not “darkness.
