Serving the Word: Mt 7: 21-29

Matthew 7, 21-29:
“He who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on rock.”

The summer that we are beginning to enjoy can be a good indicator to know and realize the foundations underlying the construction of our house, that is to say of our life.
If the beach, swimming pool, friends, travel and even relaxing is more important than God, it means that your life of faith may be built on sand.
Take care also of your spiritual life during this time of summer. Take care to continue to build on rock.
Be faithful to daily prayer, to your encounter each day with the Word of God, to receive the Eucharist frequently and don’t forget to celebrate also the sacrament of forgiveness from time to time.
Also, in summer there are people who suffer, who are hungry, who have need of you. Don’t forget them.
Enjoy the summer and throughout these days be like the one wise man who built his house on rock.
Good morning and have a good summer.
