Matthew 6, 19-23:
“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”.
What or who do you call your treasure?.
There will be people whose treasure is money or power or fashion or fame or anything else that comes to an end with the passage of time.
These are treasures that do not give us satisfaction because they are passing and can be lost, they may be able to steal from us or be destroyed over the years.
Accumulate and build up treasures in your heart. But these treasures are ones that are not measured or bought or sold.
Build up in your heart generosity, mercy, forgiveness, love, committiment, all the values of the Gospel…
Those treasures no one will be able to take from you, because the guardian of all of them is the same God, who will even multiply them in you infinitlly.
Put your heart into these treasures.
