Serving the Word: John 16: 29-33

John 16, 29-33:
“I have told you all this so that you may find peace in me.In the world you will have trouble but be brave, I have conquered the world”.

The peace that Jesus brings us is not the absence of conflict or absence of tensions.Nor is the absence of war.
The peace that Jesus brings us is the perfect harmony with the Father, with our brothers and sisters, with the world and with ourselves. It is a peace that is not achieved with signatures, or with pacts and treaties.
The peace of Jesus comes from within us, from our heart, and it is the security that we can have when we are in the hands of the Father and, come what may come or no matter what happens, no one will be able to snatch us away from these kind hands.
In the midst of the struggles and external or internal difficulties you may have, be at peace. In Jesus you have overcome them.
May the risen Jesus sends you his Spirit that gives you strength and helps you overcome everything.
During this week we prepare ourselves for the arrival of the Holy Spirit (PENTECOST).
We ask today for the gift of COUNCEL to help us choose at all times that which contributes more to the glory of God, to the dignity of human beings and creates a better world.
Good day.
