The General Plan of Formation of our Congregation reminds us that ongoing formation is a requirement of our vocation, aimed at personal and communal renewal in the light of the Gospel and our charism (PGF 464). It is a lifelong journey, comprehensive as it embraces the whole person, and transformative, as it fosters renewal in communities, mission, and apostolic structures.
In the Province of Fátima, we strive to promote ongoing formation through various initiatives:
- Encouraging participation in programmes offered by the Congregation (Fragua, Claret contigo, interculturality, economy and administration…) and other institutions.
- Organising specific provincial formation events: leadership training, apostolic priorities, safe environments, prevention of abuse, and gatherings for Claretians in their fifth and tenth years of ministry.
- Providing specialised formation in various apostolic sectors (education, parishes, specialised teams, youth ministry…).
We continue to face the challenge of making the congregational dream of the XXVI General Chapter a reality, urging us to live ongoing formation as a response to the calls of the Kingdom of God in all times and places (QC 88d).
