March 19 marked the 50th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr. Agustín Bernal in Colmenar Viejo. The event took place together with a large group of Claretians from other Provinces.
The celebration took place in his community of Córdoba-San Pablo and was held in a family atmosphere, both in the participation in the Eucharist and in the fraternal meal proper to the occasion. The Claretian brothers of Miralbaida joined in the celebration.
In his homily, Fr. Agustín made a very moving journey through his vocational itinerary, which began at the age of ten in San Martín de Trevejo and which, after a long service in the missionary sector of Christian education, has brought him to this Community of Córdoba-San Pablo.
Finally, Fr. Agustín Bernal expressed his deep gratitude to God, to the Heart of Mary and to all those who have accompanied him during these 50 years and ended his homily by asking all those present to pray for him. All in all, the celebration was a truly endearing event, full of family flavour.
