On 12th November, at the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist at 11 am, the Parish of Tondela welcomed the children of the first year of catechesis with great joy and the grace of God.
The parish church was full and was attended by their parents and many relatives. The children were happy: in a festive but serene atmosphere, they paid attention to the words and gestures of Fr António Victor Amorim Portugal cmf, parish priest, who spoke to their hearts. Answering their questions, they said that they wanted to live in joy and love by knowing and meeting Jesus Christ with the help of their families and catechists, and by attending the Eucharist.
At the end, the feeling on the faces of the young people was one of happiness for having participated in this celebration. May the Virgin, Mother of the Church, together with her son Jesus Christ, protect and sustain everyone on the way of faith, and encourage and strengthen the catechists to help them to live in faith and to be witnesses of the Word and Love of God.
