The Easter visitation, a tradition passed down from generation to generation in the Parish of Tondela

On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, 9 and 10 April respectively, several lay people from the Parish of Tondela (Portugal) formed different groups to go through the streets and some homes of the city announcing the resurrection of Christ.

The experience, which has been going on for years and is being passed on from generation to generation, was beautiful and stimulating for its participants, who were able to feel the faith and Christ alive in each of the homes and places they visited. At the sound of the bell, many families invited them into their homes.

Every day is a day to announce the Risen Christ. We join the parish in thanking all the people who participated and who made these days even more special.
