33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time (Mt 25, 14-30)
The reading of the parable leaves us with a lesson that focuses on the fact that every person must put into play their virtues, their gifts that they have been given as a person, in order to make the world more just for others by transforming it. Jesus says no to conformism and yes to committed work that leads to the kingdom of God. In our families we should be the generators of that work and that commitment.
Proposal to take care of the family this week:
As a family we should commit ourselves to putting all our qualities into play and putting them at the service of our community, not falling into the trap of convenience or the easy way, and being an example to our sons and daughters. Convinced, moreover, that this is something that, in the first place, benefits our home, since it makes us more human, better citizens and more coherent Christians.
