Take care of your family: Each member of the family make some gesture/action to bring light to the rest during these days.

SUNDAY IV OF THE TIME OF LENT (Jn 9, 1.6-9.13-17.34-38)

In today’s Gospel the Pharisees attribute a person’s blindness from birth to a previous “curse”. They seem to have the authority over good and evil. But Jesus questions all the prejudices the Jews had about illness and acts as the true God, the only one whose authority is unquestionable and who, therefore, translates himself into gestures of good, mercy, healing and salvation. He is Light and Life. Also in our families there are members who are “closer” to the Pharisees… and others who are “closer” to the God of Life. In these times of living the coronavirus pandemic… each one of us can also come to the fore.

PROPOSAL TO CARE FOR THE FAMILY this week:

Let us do our best these days to be bearers of the light and life of Jesus, convinced that the best way to face our fears and insecurities is to remain in faith and to listen to God’s will.
