26th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Mt 21, 28-32)
In today’s reading, we see how Jesus presents us with two contrasting situations and makes us see that he does not allow himself to be led by the ” external ” – neither by what is “said by mouth” nor by the “social image” that is projected. He reads people’s hearts and chooses those who, although they are the most disadvantaged in the image of everyone, are those who do the Father’s will.
We must live something similar in our families. We must choose to follow Jesus not only in word but in deed. To do this, it is important that our commitment starts with prayer. A prayer that does not remain only in intention or thought, but that is accompanied by deeds and behaviours that bring us closer to Jesus.
Proposal to take care of the family this week:
Discuss “what actions” each person is doing that “demonstrate” that they are following God’s will.
