2 Sunday of Lent
Commentary
Pray despite fatigue and tiredness, apathy and failure to thrive. Pray alone, in the most profound place of self, in a solitariness that is not distracting. Pray in company, in Community, in FAMILY. Pray even though clouds and shadows provoke in us “fears” and “discouragements”; we will soon see “the glory of Jesus”, so we feel the fire of his love.
PROPOSAL TO TAKE CARE OF THE FAMILY DURING THIS WEEK:
Already well into Lent, it is necessary to take time out for a reflective PRAYER OF CONVERSION. Sometimes we should do it as a FAMILY. Let us seek a time, place and environment that is most conducive to this interiorization and that this prayer will result in some practical commitment that can be evaluated.
