Superior General’s Easter Message 2021

Our Superior General, Mathew Vattamattam, CMF, wishes us “the joy of Easter” in his message, this being “the second Easter we celebrate with the restrictions of COVID, though this time with less panic and fear”.

In relation to other years, more Claretians have been called to the house of the Father during this time, although not all of them are victims of the pandemic. At the General Curia, the remembrance of our deceased brothers has become a regular event this year.

Without the light of Easter, we have no way of making sense of suffering and death.

This Easter, let us renew our commitment to be instruments of peace and love wherever we are present. Rooted in the Risen Lord, let us be bold in our missions.

Let us rejoice and be glad because God is present in us and in our midst.
