The Claretian Missions Procuratorate thanks all the volunteers, friends and benefactors for the donations and support given during the campaigns “Help the Mission 2021” and “Solidarity Kitchen”.
Both campaigns are concluded with a very positive evaluation of all that has been collected: in the first initiative more than 300 volumes were collected with various materials, including porridge and powdered milk, school supplies and health supplies; in the second initiative it was possible to collect enough donations to buy a 65-litre pot for 120 people for the Community Development Centre of São António in São Tomé and Príncipe, as well as more than 50 pots of various sizes to be distributed in São Tomé and Príncipe in various communities.
The Procura will now prepare the different materials received to send them soon to Sao Tome and Principe.
During the month of February the “Caderno Solidário” (Solidarity Notebook) Campaign will be in force, with the aim of reaching 500 notebooks to be distributed to the children of the Claret School and various communities and institutions in Sao Tome and Principe.
The notebooks can be delivered in gender in one of its delegations (Carvalhos, Lisbon, Agualva-Cacém, Tondela and Fátima-Tomar), or the donation can be sent by bank transfer to the NIB of the Claret Foundation (REQUEST: 0018.0003.399.912.45020.98) or by MBWay (939416597 – we will send a receipt for the purposes of the IRS-).
