Serving the Word. Mt 7: 6. 12-14

Matthew 7, 6.12-14:
“Enter through the narrow gate”.

There are many doors that open for us many things and possibilities of life and in life.
There are doors that open for us the good things in life: love, work, brothers and sisters, encounters, giving, service…
And there are doors that open us up to the destruction of ourselves and others.
Jesus tells us in the Gospel that He is the door where the sheep enter, that is us.
Enter by the narrow gate is to enter through Jesus. He is the only door that opens us to fulfilment.
He is the door that opens us to the Father and, therefore, to complete happiness.
In everything you do and everything that you live by enter through Jesus. Although sometimes entering through that door will require sacrifice, denial and non-acceptance on the part of others.
Enter through Jesus means to say that in everything you do and everything you live by try to act and try to live as Jesus acted and lived.
Good day.
