Serving the Word: Mt 6: 22-34

Matthew 6, 24-34:
“Seek above all the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be yours as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own trials”.

Jesus does not say that we must ignore everything else to seek the Kingdom of God. Jesus wants us to engage in our world, to commit ourselves to our work, in society.
Let us work every day to make a more just and human world.
Because all of that is also to seek the Kingdom of God.
The problem is when we use money and everything that goes with it in such a way that we lose perspective of the Kingdom of God and place our lives only in material, economic and selfish things.
When we stay in the “additions”, that is precisely what it gives us when we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
When in our life project what appears in the background are the words, productivity, gain, power… and others like them, we are not looking sincerely for the Kingdom of God, in whose background there must appear other words such as truth, justice, solidarity, charity, shareing, commitment, service…
Seek in everything you do today the Kingdom of God and ensure to build in all your activities that you do today to make this kingdom of God a reality.
Good day.
