Serving the Word: Mt 28: 8-15

MONDAY APRIL 13 – MONDAY IN THE OCTAVE OF EASTER

Matthew 28, 8-15:
“Rejoice… Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the tomb where they had laid Jesus’ body.
They found it empty and heard the news of the Lord’s Resurrection.
They ran to announce the good news to the disciples. But first, the Risen Lord himself comes out to meet them and speaks to them, inviting them to do three things:
1°: To be JOYFUL: “Rejoice!”. 2°: To leave all FEARS: “do not be afraid”.
3°: To be messengers of LIFE: “go and tell my brothers”.
During this time of Easter, try to put yourself in a position where the Risen Lord can meet you:
1°: You will see that JOY is reborn in you.
2°: May all your fears and apprehensions be dispelled.
3°: And you will also feel the need to communicate to others the power of LIFE that the Resurrection of Jesus brings.
Keep on enjoying the Lord’s Easter!.
Good day.
