Serving the Word: Mt 26:14-25

WEDNESDAY APRIL 8 – WEDNESDAY OF HOLY WEEK

Matthew 26:14-25:
“The disciples carried out Jesus’ instructions and prepared the Passover.

Tomorrow we begin the celebration of the Passover. This celebration cannot go unnoticed by Christians. It is the central celebration of our faith.
What instructions do you think Jesus is giving you in this special and particular year to prepare for Easter?
Stop for a while today and think about how you are preparing for the Lord’s Passover.
Think about what you want to die in you. Think about what you want to raise up in you.
Live these days as God “passes” through your life. God’s “passing” is always liberating and saving.
Let yourself be freed and saved by Him. Prepare to live this Easter as a newness in your life.
May it not be for you just another Easter. It will necessarily be very special.
Let it be your Easter because you pass from death to life together with Jesus.
May you fulfill the instructions that Jesus gives you.
Happy Passover of the Lord.
Good day.
