Mark 16:9-15:
“Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Good News to all creation”.
The mandate that Jesus now addresses to his disciples also remains in force for each and every one of us.
There are still many parts of the world and many corners of our world that the Good News of Jesus has not yet reached . And Jesus is Good News for each and every man and woman.
It is even the case that it is in some of those traditional Christian places is where the Gospel of Jesus might be most unknown.
Think, for example, in the world of youth, in the world of the family, in the world of the social media, in the world of politics, in the world of finance… and in so many other worlds in need of the light of the Gospel.
Make yours this command of Jesus because it is also addressed to you. And proclaim the Gospel in the place, at the right time and in the situation you find yourself in.
