Serving the Word: Mk 3: 22-30

MONDAY 27 JANUARY 2020

Mark 3, 22-30:
“Believe me, all things can be forgiven to men: their sins and whatever blasphemy they say; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but will bear his sin forever.”

If you are sick and refuse to be healed, you will hardly recover your health.
If you are sick and you want to be cured, the first thing you have to do is to be willing to be cured and to provide the means for it.
The scribes in today’s gospel, who see the saving power of Jesus, want to deny the evidence.
The works of salvation that Jesus does are not attributed to the power of God but to the action of Satan.
They close themselves off and refuse to let the grace of Jesus enter them.
They blaspheme against the life given by the Holy Spirit.
Open yourself today totally to the action of the Spirit of Jesus in you.
Do not doubt his salvation.
Jesus is the only WAY, the only TRUTH and the only LIFE.
Good day.
