Serving the Word: Mk 9: 2-13

Mark 9, 2-13:
“Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John. and led them up a high mountain where they could be alone by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured. His clothes became dazzlingly white, whiter than any earthly bleacher could make them.

Also, you and I and all of us are called to transfigure ourselves with Jesus. We can all be transfigured by the power of the resurrection of Jesus.
Ask yourself if you really want to transfigure your heart.
Ask yourself if you want Jesus to transfigure it.
Ask yourself if you want to have a heart of stone.
If you transfigure your heart with the transfiguration of Jesus, your thoughts, your words and your actions will also be transfigured and you will thus become a witness to the Resurrection of Jesus.
To transfigure ourselves into Jesus we have to listen to Jesus. The Father has told us everything in Him. We do not need to hear about strange apparitions, revelations or horoscopes. In Jesus everything is said.
Contemplate Jesus today as the Word of the Father and listen to him. You will see and feel your transfiguration.
Good day
