Serving the Word: John 8: 51-59

THURSDAY, APRIL 2

John 8, 51-59:
” Those who keep my word will not know what it means to die forever.”

How many things we cling to in the hope that they will give us fulfillment!
And in the hour of truth, the one who alone will give us the fullness of life is Jesus Christ.
In Him, hope is supported, born and reborn. Because “he who keeps his word will not know what it means to die forever”.
He offers us a life in the fullness of meaning.
He offers us a life lived in love, in hope, in fellowship, in joy…
Pope Francis tells us: “Please do not let yourselves be robbed of hope”.
May it never be stolen by pessimism.
May it never be stolen by the prophets of doom.
May it never be stolen by adverse situations.
May nothing and no one steal your hope, which is given to you by the word of Jesus: “Whoever keeps my word will not know what it means to die forever”.
Good day.
