Serving the Word: John 12: 1-11

John 12, 1-11:
“Mary brought in a pound of very costly ointment, pure nard, and with it anointed the feet of Jesus, wiping them with her hair. The house was full of the scent of the ointment.”

If only your life and mine were like that perfume of nard, genuine and costly, that Mary of Bethany poured out at the feet of Jesus!.
A life that as daily being poured into God and others.
A life lived and spent in service and kneeling with affection at the feet of our sisters and brothers.
When we live life in this way, where we are for each other, all will be filled with the “fragrance of the ointment.”
Seek to “perfume” the Church and the world giving the “perfume” of the best of yourself, of your best qualities, of everything that is part of you and that can enrich those around you.
That your heart during these days of Holy Week, and always, be full of the best “perfume” and you know how to “break yourself” so as to “perfume” everything around you.
Good day.
