Serving the Word: John 12: 1-11

John 12, 1-11:
“Mary took a pound of costly, genuine nard perfume and anointed Jesus’ feet and wiped them with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume”.

I wish your life and mine were like that perfume of spikenard, authentic and costly, which Mary of Bethany poured onto the feet of Jesus.
A life that is poured daily into God and into others.
A life lived and spent in service and kneeling in affection at the feet of our brothers and sisters.
When we live life in this way, wherever we are, everything will be filled with the “fragrance of perfume”.
Try to “perfume” the Church and the world by giving the “perfume” of the best of yourself, of your best qualities, of everything that is part of you and that can enrich those around you.
During these days of Holy Week, and always, may your heart be filled with the best “perfume” and may you know how to “break” yourself in order to “perfume” everything around you.
Good day.
