Serving the Word: John 10, 31-42

FRIDAY APRIL 3

John 10, 31-42:
“Jesus answered them, though you do not believe me, believe the works I do, so that you may understand and know that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.

Jesus himself said that we will be known by the fruits we bear, because a good tree cannot bear bad fruit nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Today we talk a lot about testimony and we hardly believe those who do not back up with their actions what they say or preach with their mouths.
For there are the deeds of Jesus backing up his message: he welcomes everyone, heals illnesses, guides the undecided, enlightens consciences, offers and sows peace, consoles everyone who is sad…
That is why he can present his works as an expression of what he himself is.
Ask the Lord today for consistency in your life. May you live what you announce and announce what you live. May your actions and words always be in harmony and consistent.
Good day.
