FRIDAY JANUARY 3
John 1, 29-34:
“This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world… I have seen and I bear witness that this is the Son of God.
During the Christmas season we contemplate and celebrate the Word made flesh, made man and was in all things like man except sin.
You, like John, are also the voice of that Word. Fulfill, like John, your mission too.
May your testimony about Jesus be true, clear and clean. May your voice, supported by your life, cry out loudly for the presence of Jesus in the desert of this world.
You have a hard and beautiful task for the year we have just begun. Grasp it with joy and enthusiasm.
Shout out loud and show clearly to our world that the Word has become flesh and has placed his tent in our midst.
And that you too, like John, can exclaim: “This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. I have seen and I bear witness that this is the Son of God.
