THURSDAY 9TH JUNE 2022
John 17, 1-2.9.14-25:
“Jesus, lifting up his eyes to heaven, prayed, saying, Holy Father, that they all may be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
The credibility of the followers of Jesus is not in how we pray or what we say.
The credibility of the followers of Jesus is in the way we love and transmit the love of God in all that we do.
Any NGO can do the things that any Christian does.
It can even do them better and more competently.
But what a Christian does, if they are filled with the love of Jesus, cannot be done by anyone who does not have the Spirit of Jesus.
The Spirit of Jesus is always the Spirit of unity, of communion, of uniting and never of dividing. Because in order to do good and for the world to believe, all of us who want to transmit the love that Jesus showed us must be united.
Break today with all the differences and all the divisions that you discover in your life.
