FRIDAY 30th APRIL 2021
John 14, 1-6:
“I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.
“If you go astray, you move forward in vain. And what is worse, you only walk to tire yourself out and walk in vain.
Your error is greater the more you run off course.
Run, but run in the way of Christ. For He said, “I am the WAY”.
Run knowing that you are in the right direction, for Christ Himself added: “I am the TRUTH”.
Run for Him and run to Him and you will find LIFE.
It was precisely so that you could run to Jesus Christ that He came down to you. You were far away, wandering in remote places and so weak that you could not move. The physician came down to you, he came to you who were sick, and the way was marked out in this valley of pilgrimage. Walk, then, on that path which is Christ, and you will be saved” (St. Augustine).
