Serving the Word: 28th April

WEDNESDAY 28th APRIL 2021

John 12:44-50:

“I have come into the world as light, and so whoever believes in me shall not be left in darkness.”

In recent days, Jesus has presented himself to us as the Good Shepherd who invites us to listen to him and to follow him.

If you do not want your faith to become progressively diluted and fall into superficiality and an atmosphere of darkness and gloom, you must listen to the voice of Jesus, who with his living word will illuminate your steps, your feelings and your actions.

He will enlighten you:

+ so that you believe what he believed,

+ so that you value what he valued,

+ so that you defend what he defended,

+ to do good as he did,

+ to trust the Father as he trusted,

+ to face life and death as he faced it.

Without the light that Jesus gives you with His Word, you will take only a few steps in following Him.

Get into the habit of always seeking that light and living in it.

Good day.
