Serving the Word: 26th July

WEDNESDAY, JULY 26th, 2023

Matthew 13, 1-9:

“The sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some seed fell by the roadside; the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on stony ground, where it had hardly any soil, and because the soil was not deep it sprang up at once; but as soon as the sun rose, it was scorched, and for lack of roots it withered away. Another fell among thistles, which grew up and choked it. Another fell on good soil and bore fruit: one a hundredfold, another sixty, another thirty. He who has ears, let him hear”.

The parable of the sower is offered to us again today.

It is possible that you see yourself reflected in all those fields where the seed falls. The important thing is that every day  you are becoming better soil so that the seed that God sows in you will bear the best fruits.

Today go back to examine the disposition that your soil has to receive the Word of God and give the desired fruits.

Good day.
