MONDAY, 26th APRIL 2021
John 10, 1-10
“I am the door of the sheep: whoever enters through me will be saved; he will come in and go out and find pasture”.
Today’s Gospel presents us with the figure of the Good Shepherd.
It is good to deepen its rich content and to allow ourselves to be touched by it.
I propose that today you let yourself be touched starting from Psalm 23:
“The Lord is my shepherd: I lack nothing.
He leads me to rest in green pastures,
he leads me beside the still waters
and he restores my soul.
He leads me in a straight path for his name’s sake
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil, for you are with me:
Thy rod and Thy staff fill me with confidence”.
May these words accompany you today and make you feel that the Lord is the Good Shepherd who always watches over you.
