Serving the Word: 25th February

THURSDAY 25th FEBRUARY 2021

Matthew 7, 7-12:

“Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you; for he who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Never be afraid to turn to God to ask. Even a little child constantly turns to their father because they know that their father always listens to them.

He may or may not give them what they ask for. But the child knows very well that the doors of his father’s heart will always be open.

Sometimes they will not get what they ask for, because the father will not see fit.

But what the child will always get is a look of affection.

Our Father God always listens to you, opens his heart to you and looks at you with affection when you ask him for something.

Even if you don’t always get what you want, your good Father knows better than you what is good for you.

Ask the Lord today to give you what He believes you most need for yourself and others at this time in your life.

Place yourself in the presence of your Father God. Ask, seek and knock. You will receive, you will find and you will be cared for with a Father’s love.

Good day.
