Serving the Word: 17th April

SATURDAY 17th APRIL 2021

John 6, 16-21:

“It is I, do not be afraid”.

It was already dark, a strong wind was blowing and the lake was getting rougher and rougher.

How often in our lives does the night become dark, the wind blows hard and the waves are rough!

It is at such times that we are gripped by fear, we are frightened, we are paralysed and hope seems to abandon us.

But we must never be afraid. Even when our horizons darken and we feel that everything is going to collapse, there is the presence and the closeness of Jesus who will repeat over and over again: “IT IS ME, DO NOT BE AFRAID”.

Revive your trust in the Lord today. He enables you to overcome all fears. He knows how to master all waves. He knows how to lead you in peace, hope and joy.

Good day.
