Serving the Word: 11th May

TUESDAY 11th MAY 2021

John 16, 5-11:

“It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go away, I will send him to you”.

Jesus continues to speak to us about the Holy Spirit.

Visibly, he disappears from among the disciples, but he promises the presence of the Holy Spirit who will always accompany his followers.

The Holy Spirit accompanies us, offering life in its fullness, giving encouragement and strength, help and power in our Christian journey.

The Holy Spirit defends us from lies, protects us from cowardice, enlightens our lives, gives us patience in trials and keeps us alive in hope and the flame of faith.

During these days leading up to Pentecost, call on the Holy Spirit more often and let Him guide you.

You will feel his strength and you will see your mission, here and now, with the clarity he will give you.

Good day.
