Meeting of the APJs of the Canary Islands

On the weekend of 24-26 November, in the Parish of El Pilar in Tenerife (Spain), the meeting of the APJs of the Canary Islands took place, which included moments of conviviality, including the reception in the houses, formation and spirituality.

The meeting was very emotional and enriching, since in addition to the YVM_Spain team and the APJs of Tenerife and Las Palmas, some Daughters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (HICM, Cordimarian Filiation) also participated. There was also a workshop on the ARDE space, to help to create spaces for contemplation in the near future.

All the participants gratefully said goodbye until next time.

The proposal for the meeting had been on the table for several years. On 16 September, in Loja, the desire became strong. A joint APJ meeting for the Canary Islands. The need to meet, build bridges and share experiences. For some, the opportunity to deepen the foundations of their Christian identity, of their being APJ. For others, somewhat older, an opportunity to return to their roots, after years of evangelising service among young people.
