On May 31, Fr. Juan Antonio Lamarca celebrated in the Parish of St. Anthony Mary Claret of Seville his silver jubilee of priesthood (which will be celebrated on June 29).
Juan Antonio was accompanied by the Claretian missionaries of Seville, some diocesan priests and a large group of parishioners of the parish who almost filled the church.
Fr. Juan Antonio thanked God for the vocation to the ministry he received and in a heartfelt homily he recounted some milestones of his vocational history and his ministerial itinerary in the Congregation.
A few days before, he celebrated the same event in the framework of a meeting of the Archbishop, Mons. José Ángel Sainz Meneses, with the priests who this year celebrate their 25th or 50th anniversary of ordination, to whom he gave a cross.
We congratulate Juan Antonio and wish him many years of fruitful missionary service.
