At the end of 2020, the boys and girls in the 4th year of Primary School at Claret School in Las Palmas worked on an activity in their Language unit called ‘I have a letter for you!
In it, they learned to write formal and informal letters with the aim of contacting the residents and workers of the El Pino Social and Health Centre. The work was very motivating as, due to the current health situation at COVID19, they had not been able to visit them or carry out joint activities this year.
The children took great care in writing the letters and filled them with gratitude and affection. After a few days, the surprise came… there was a reply!
We pray that there will continue to be enriching experiences like this at all levels.
