Holy Week and Resurrection at the Claret residences in Seville and Granada

The Claret residences for the elderly in Seville and Granada have experienced Holy Week and the resurrection of the Lord in a very special way, participating in different acts and activities.

In the Residence Claret Seville they participated in numerous activities related to this important date, such as going to the Parish of St. Anthony Mary Claret on the Friday of Sorrows to see the Passing of the Holy Christ of the Mission. The residents were accompanied by some family members, making the visit very moving and emotional. In the afternoon, they were able to accompany the Christ of the Mission in his penitential procession, making the typical floral offering. It is important to highlight the importance of taking part in these activities, as in addition to being enjoyable for the residents, they provide numerous functional, physical, emotional, cognitive and social benefits.

At the Residence Claret Granada, in addition to a special programme for residents to live their faith, the week was completed with a series of activities such as the preparation of torrijas, a typical dessert of our Semana Major, where the residents were able to enjoy their preparation and later taste them.
