The current situation due to COVID-19 has not led to the cancellation of the usual ‘Feast of the Presentation of the Child’ in the Parish of Our Lady of Areosa, in Oporto, which has been adapted to the circumstances.
Thus, last Sunday, February 7th, with the appropriate measures and each family at home, the children baptised during the past year were presented by means of a video. This year, there were 17 children presented to the community, as well as their families, who participated in the Eucharist through the recordings of the readings.
We pray for all children and their families.
