Days of celebrations in Zimbabwe on the occasion of the feast of Father Claret

Last October 24, Claretians all over the world celebrated the great feast day of our Father and Founder, St. Anthony Mary Claret. In Zimbabwe it also marked the culmination of several days of intense celebrations, deep prayers and vibrant witness of our missionary charism in the Church and for the world.

In between the celebrations, we give thanks to God for the vocation of our confreres who are studying theology in Morogoro (Tanzania). Last Friday 21st of October, Brothers Kudzai Tonganai CMF, Austin Sayira CMF and George Chidyamatondo CMF renewed their religious profession. In addition, at the same celebration, Brothers Austin and George received the ministries of Acolyte and Lector respectively.

On Sunday 23rd, the incipient group of the Lay Claretian Movement animated the Eucharist in the different parishes where we are (St. Charles and St. Dominic in Ruwa, Harare, and St. Claret-Zhomba Mission in Gokwe).

And on Monday 24th, in the framework of an intimate and warm Eucharistic celebration among the Claretians of Ruwa and Harare, together with the postulants of Claret House, our brother Lee Malunga CMF also renewed his religious profession.
