50 years since the pontifical approval of the Cordimarian Filiation… Congratulations!

On 21 November 2023, it will be 50 years since the Church recognised the Daughters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (HICM, Cordimarian Filiation) as a Secular Institute in its own right.

During this year, they have celebrated their jubilee year since 50 years in the heart of the Church is more than enough reason to wish with all our souls to celebrate during all these months so many blessings received. The Lord has been great with them and we rejoice! (Ps 125).

To close this year of grace, the HICM celebrated their 50th anniversary of Pontifical Approbation with an academic-celebrative day held at the San Antonio María Claret School in Madrid on Saturday 18 November, entitled ‘In grateful memory of the origins, to live the present with passion and dream with God our future’. In addition, the annual training day of the Spanish Conference of Secular Institutes (CEDIS) was held at the same time.

It was a special day because it was attended by the Secular Institutes of Spain, our beloved Claretian Family and by relatives and friends. The academic day was not wasted, the theatre, which was prepared by young people, beautifully illustrated the way of life of the HICM and the final touch was the celebration of the Eucharist presided by Cardinal Aquilino Bocos, a Claretian missionary. It was a joyful day of communion and thanksgiving to God.

We would like to congratulate the HICM for their 50 years, since, as St. Anthony Mary Claret wished in his day, with their testimony, work and commitment they make it possible “to provide ways that make it possible to live the consecration to God in the midst of the world”.

Congratulations!
