Take care of your family: Tell each other ” I will never leave you on your own”

VI SUNDAY OF EASTER (Jn 14:15-21)
In today’s Gospel we are presented with a wonderful communion of Love between the Holy Trinity and the person. After reconfirming to us that the first and most important of the commandments is that of Love, Jesus Christ reminds us that to love HIM is to live from his principles and values, from his commandments. For Love must be transformed into choices, decisions and actions. Also within our family. Moreover, at this time full of uncertainties and vulnerability, the facts also happen to prolong in others the comforting words of Jesus: that he will never leave us on our own.

Proposal to take care of the family this week:
Let us look for a concrete way to make the commandment of Love a reality among us these days. Perhaps, it is enough to say to each other: “I will never leave you alone”.
