Take care of your family: Spend some time talking about the good things of the people in our family.

SUNDAY 3rd SUNDAY OF ADVENT – CYCLE A (Mt 11, 2-11)

In today’s Gospel Jesus answers John the Baptist’s doubts with actions. His works speak for him as the saviour of the world and as the messenger of God. In turn, He does not doubt John…but exalts him and places him at the highest level of humanity. In our families we would also have to learn to speak more “with deeds” and to trust others and, if need be, to give “more compliments” to those we love.

PROPOSAL TO TAKE CARE OF THE FAMILY THIS WEEK
Let us ask God for the faith to abandon ourselves to Him and move in the right direction to build the family, overcoming difficulties, resolving conflicts, finding light to approach the person or situation that needs it. And, as Jesus did with John, let’s do a family exercise to “highlight the good things” of the people with whom we live or who are part of our loved ones.
