Serving the Word: Mt 9: 35-10: 1. 6-8

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7
Matthew 9, 35-10, 1.6-8:
“Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom and curing all sicknesses and all diseases.
+ How are you announcing the Gospel of the Kingdom?
+ What sicknesses and what ailments are you willing to heal and cure in these days of Advent?

“When he saw the people, he felt sorry for them, because they were exhausted and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd:
+ Are you willing to take care of people who are abandoned and tired?

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest:”
+ Do you consider yourself a worker in the Lord’s field?
+ Do you pray that the Lord will send workers into His field?

“Go to the lost sheep of Israel:”
+ Do you care about those people who have distanced themselves or who have never been in the Church?

Keep some of these phrases from today’s Gospel and some of these questions and meditate on them during this day.
Good day.
