Serving the Word: Mt: 7, 7-12

Matthew 7:7-12:
“Ask and it will be given to you; search and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For the one who asks always receives; the one who searches always finds; the one who knocks will always have the door opened to them.”

Never be afraid to go to God to ask him. A small child constantly goes to his father because he knows that his father always listens to him.
He will give or not give what he asks for. But the child knows very well that the doors of his father’s heart are always open.
Sometimes, he will not get what he asks for, because the father does not think it appropriate.
But what he will always get is a look of affection.
Our Father God always listen to you, he opens his heart to you and looks at you with affection when you ask him for something.
Although you do not always get what you want, your good Father knows better than you what’s right for you.
Today, ask the Lord to grant you what he believes you most need for yourself and others at this moment of your life.
Put yourself in the presence of your Father God. Ask, seek and knock. You will receive, you will find and you will be treated with the affection of a Father.
Good day.
