Serving the Word: Mt 18: 15-20

WEDNESDAY 12 AUGUST

Matthew 18, 15-20:
“Moreover I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as to what they shall ask for, it shall be given them of my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

During the days of summer there are many more occasions than at other times of the year to meet, to be together, to share. Do we realize that essential and secure presence of the Lord among us whenever we gather in his name?
If we were aware of meeting in the name of the Lord, perhaps our meetings and gatherings would have another nuance, other objectives …
The Lord will always give us his peace, his sense of dialogue, his capacity to forgive, his respect and his love for our brothers and sisters.
He will always give us the desire to seek the truth and the best for all.
Always try to gather in the name of the Lord.
Try to put Jesus at the centre of all your meetings.
Good day.
