Serving the Word: Mt 18: 1-5.10

Matthew 18, 1-5.10:
“See that you never despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven are continually in the presence of my Father in heaven.”

We celebrate today the Feast of the Guardian Angels.
The Guardian Angel is the personification of care, affection, love, closeness and the company of God.
I would venture to say that today we celebrate the feast of each one of us. Because each of us are called to be the Guardian Angel of others.
Each of us are called to look after our brothers and sisters.
Each one of us must be the visible manifestation of God’s care for each and every person.
Think of those people that the Lord has placed and puts in your way to manifest his closeness, his love, his providence and his accompaniment.
Realize that you are the guardian angel of each one of those people and ask the Lord that you will act accordingly.
Good day.
