Serving the Word: Mt 11: 25-30

FRIDAY 19 JUNE

Matthew 11, 25 – 30:
“You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to the simple people.”

We always use the simplicity of a child as a model of simplicity.
A child is always open to applause because he finds everything admirable.
Without expressing it and without knowing how to express it, he lives in gratitude, because he feels weak and small.
He trusts everyone who shows him affection because he has an open heart to closeness.
Whatever age you are, try to live with simplicity of heart.
Rejoice in and with others. Be grateful for everything you receive and no matter what kind it is. Trust in God and others. And, above all, have an open heart like the Heart of Jesus, whose feast we celebrate today, so as to always pour out love.
Good day.
